Bose is back with a grand slam with the SoundTouch Series II. This is rather a surprise update from their barely one year old Series I, but it looks like Bose is stepping up the competition. While the hardware is typically the same as their previous version, this time they come with updated apps and new streaming services, all in new and bolder black.
This upgrade now integrates Deezer, Spotify Connect and iHeartRadio, on top of Bose’s standard Pandora and Internet radio integration. They also support native streaming from PC’s and Macs alike, and the remote control app for Android/iOS now gets bass control as well, which is a nice addition. You can setup the SoundTouch 30 wirelessly via the app, and if you’re cool like us you’ll grab their top of the line SoundTouch 30 Wi-Fi Music System for your living room.
