Buffalo has announced first 8x Blu-Ray burner. The current specs support 8x recording for single layer BD-R and 2x for dual layer BD-R. It also burns DVD-R single layer at 16x, and DVD-R dual layer at 8x. It will be bundled with Cyberlink’s Power DVD 7 suite. The burner will hit Japan store in August. [CDRINFO]
