Buffalo will launch the world’s first USB 3.0 external hard drive later this month. The Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 hard drive is currently available in 1TB, 1.5 TB and 2TB storage capacities. If your computer doesn’t support USB 3.0 port, then you can use the NEC IFC-PCIE2U3 2-port PCI Expressx1 host controller that is included in the package. The 1TB and 1.5TB models are priced at $225 and $284, respectively.
