Buffalo today announced the DSM-SL20U2 external DVD Super-Multi Drive that provides the option to upscale DVD content to 1080p. The DSM-SL20U2 is capable of burning DVD±R at 20x, DVD+RW at 8x and DVD-RAM at 12x. The device will be available later this month in Japan for €85. [Akihabara]
