In the ultimate display of Male National Pride, The United Arab Emirates has ousted the record from Taiwan for the world’s tallest building. The Burj Dubai which currently under construction has reached 141 stories on Saturday, July 21st, 2007. The structure stands erect at an impressive 512.1m (1,680ft) tall which beats the record of the 508m high Taipei 101 in Taiwan. Good goin’ Emirates… Only thing is, Burj Dubai looks as though it belongs in Mordor more than Dubai.
