The U-301 is the latest dual-mode USB modem from C-motech that supports both 3G technology CDMA and 4G technology WiMax 2.0. This lightweight modem uses a 65nm Qualcomm QSC6085 chipset for CDMA and a 65nm Beceem BCSM250 chipset for WiMax. The U-301 provides maximum download/upload speeds of up to 10/4 MB/s from WiMax or 3.1/1.8 MB/s from CDMA. The device also supports Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems. The U-301 will become available starting in December via Sprint.
