Canon CanoScan 9000F High-End Scanner Is Now Available In Japan

Canon has decided to release the CanoScan 9000F in Japan. This high-end scanner provides a maximum color resolution of 9600dpi with a color depth of 48 bits and an improved scanning times. It is capable of scanning up to four 35mm slides or twelve 35mm filmstrips at one time. The CanoScan 9000F adopts the company’s Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement (FARE) Level 3 technology that removes dust and scratches. Measuring 270mm x 480mm x 111mm and weighing 4.6kg, the Canon CanoScan 9000F high-end scanner retails for 25,980 Yen ($284). [Akihabara]
