Chimei, a Taiwanese manufacturer, comes back with the DTL-742E500 42 Inch HDTV LCD for people in Europe and Taiwan. The LCD packs with a 500cd/m2 brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. Moreover, the price tag should be under $1,600.
