GlobalSat showed of its serial mouse GPS receiver unit that is priced at just $40 each. The GlobalSat BR-355 is compact and waterproof, so you can use this device on the boat or wet environments. The GPS receiver also features the SiRF Star III chipset with firmware version 3.1.1 and has perfect accuracy with a range of 5 meters.
