
CyberPower is out with its latest high-spec graphics processing workstation known as the Power Mega 1000. The system boasts a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7-920 quad core processor, an Intel X58 Chipset SLI/CrossFirex mainboard and NVIDIA’s Quadro NVS 420 x16 PCIe graphics card which is capable of supporting up to 30-inch digital displays at 2,560 x 1,600 resolutions via DisplayPort / dual-link DVI. The card also comes with 512MB of memory, 11.2GB/sec (per GPU) of memory bandwidth and a CUDA Parallel Computing Processor.
Other features include 6GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB SATA hard drive, Blu-ray optical drive, SATA RAID w/ eSATA connections, 7.1-channel audio and Windows XP Professional OS with Service Pack 3. The Power Mega is now available for purchase with a retail price of $1,469. [Product Page via Electronista]
