Dell has finally released the Ultrasharp U2410 and ST2410 LCD monitors in the US market. The Dell U2410 adopts an IPS panel, providing 96% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. It also supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 6ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 400 cd/m2 brightness and comes with several connectivity ports including VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and four USB ports. A budget alternative, the ST2410, is also new and uses a less color-rich TN (twisted nematic) panel as well as a lower 50,000:1 contrast ratio. It also has reduced input with DVI, HDMI and VGA as its options. The Dell Ultrasharp U2410 and ST2410 LCD monitors are priced at $599 and $259, respectively. [Electronista]
