Dell Inspiron M501R With AMD Phenom II X4 CPU

The new Dell Inspiron M501R is powered by AMD’s new Phenom II X4 mobile processor, codenamed Champlain. FYI, the Phenom II X4 is a Quad Core chip with a clock speed of up to 2.3GHz. This laptop comes with either a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v graphics, a 15.6-inch 720p HD-capable display, a standard DVD burner and an optional Blu-ray drive. Other features include an integrated 1,3MP webcam, a couple of speakers, 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB port, optional 7-in-1 media card reader, VGA and HDMI outputs, and a full-size keyboard with numeric pad. Weighing 5.83 pounds, the Dell Inspiron M501R comes equipped with a standard 6-cell battery.
