Dell hits back with their new Android 5.0 tablet, the Venue 10 7000. Featuring an aluminum enclosure and a large cylinder on its edge (houses the battery and speakers), this high-end tablet sports a 10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 WQXGA AMOLED display, up to 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor, a 2GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
Measuring 6.2mm thick and weighing 598 grams, the Venue 10 7000 is equipped with a 2MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera and two Intel RealSense snapshot depth cameras, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Android for work. Powered by a 7000mAh battery, the Venue 10 7000 provides WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 will be available in the US, Canada and China in May 2015 for a starting price of $499 or $629 with an attachable keyboard. [FoneArena]
