Digital Cowboy has announced their latest network HD media player for the Japanese market called the Movie Cowboy DC-MCNP1/W. This slim device is equipped with a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay, Ethernet LAN, a USB HOST port, a USB port, an HDMI output and comes with WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity for wireless streaming. The device also supports a wide variety of audio and video formats including MP3, AAC, OGG, AC3, DTS, MPEG1/2 Layer 1/2/3 (MP3), MPEG2-2bc, MPEG-2/4 ACC-LG, WMA9 (Pro), FLAC, MPEG2 HD (ts, tp, trp), MPEG-1/2, DivX 3/4/5, Xvid, DAT, ISO, VOB, IFO, MKV (x.264), H.264, WMV9, ASF, MOV, RMVB, FLV, MP4 as well as MotionJPEG.
