Elecom 3D Laser Mouse Scrolls in Three Dimensions

Elecom Corporation of Osaka, Japan has released their newest mouse which is great for CAD applications, and Google Earth. This M-3D1UR laser mouse is based on the Sandio’s 3D input technology that allows you to move and rotate on the x, y and z-axes with just one hand. It has the regular scroll wheel along with three separate joystick-like knobs positioned left, top, and right of the wheel so that you can move around in the three axes. Elecom’s M-3D1UR series employs high precision laser sensors and offers users greater flexibility through multiple dpi: 400, 800, 1600 and 2000. The mouse sells for Â¥12,800 or around US$108. Elecom exhibited the M-3D1UR series 3D mouse at the Tokyo Game Show in September.
