Elecom’s Upcoming Dual-Band WiFi Router With Hardware NAT Function

Elecom has showed off another one of its upcoming dual-band WiFi router, the WRC-1167GEBK-I. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), this home router is equipped with one Internet LAN port, four LAN ports and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 867Mbps).

Furthermore, the WRC-1167GEBK-I comes with hardware NAT function – wired throughput up to 940Mbps between terminals and provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP) and WEP (128/64-bit).

The Elecom WRC-1167GEBK-I will hit the market from late October for 8,996 Yen (about $75). [Product Page]
