Elecom has showed off another one of its upcoming dual-band WiFi router, the WRC-2533GHBK-I. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), this home router is equipped with 8x internal antennas (4×4), 1x Internet LAN port and 4x LAN ports, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1733Mbps).
In addition, the WRC-2533GHBK-I comes with ‘Beam Forming Z’ function for improving your WiFi reception and reducing interference, and ‘Hardware NAT’ function – wired throughput up to 940Mbps.
For security, it provides WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP) and WEP (128/64bit). The Elecom WRC-2533GHBK-I will start shipping from late April for 21,935 Yen (about $200). [Product Page]
