What happens when it's full?
You still have to take the batteries to be recycled... why not just do that in the first place?

uhhh
Q, i hate to inform you, but this is meant for household use
not public use or outdoors. This is for people who use AA batteries for remote controls, toys, or other electronic devices. Home use
not public use
they wouldnt bring their batteries out
they would just put them in this
because it would be in their house
do you understand???

It seems like this item will used in public. I wonder how many people are willing a bring their batteries out and drop it here. Also, even if people are willing to, there might not be enough batteries to power up all of the lights. And when they went out, someone then have to put batteries in them, a burden for public tax.

It would be great if it's powered by both household outlet and batteries, but then that defeat the purpose of making this. Oh well, i'm going in circle. Just a thought anyway, even though it doesn't make much sense.
