Epson has introduced a new projector during this year’s FETC event by announcing the PowerLite 83V+. Aimed specifically at education users, this easy-to-use and affordable projector adopts Epson’s latest 3LCD display technology and provides an XGA resolution, 2,200 lumens brightness, 1.2x optical zoom and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). In addition, it also comes with a built-in 10-watt speaker, a closed captioning decoder to accommodate students with hearing impairments and several connectivity ports including dual VGA, audio-out, monitor-out and RS-232c.
