Epson Mini Endeavor as a Home Server

Epson offers the Mini Endeavor as a Windows Home Server under the SV120h name. In case you didn’t know, the Epson ST120 Endeavor measures at only 75mm x 185mm x 195mm and was a real competitor of the Mac Mini in Japan. It is available in two configuration, a 2GHz Celeron 575 CPU or a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU, from 160GB to 2×500GB (1TB) of HDD. By default the VC120h will be powered by an Intel GM45 Express video chipset, a 1GB of RAM (up to 4GB) and an average DVD Super Multi. The price starts at around 65,000 Yen for the Celeron version (or around €520). [Akihabara]
