Epson has announced its new mid-range photo scanner, the Perfection V600. This energy efficient scanner offers an optical resolution of 6400 x 9600 dpi and a Dmax of 3.4 for creating high-quality enlargements up to 17-inch x 22-inch. Other new features worth mentioning include a built-in Transparency Unit (TPU) that supports full panoramic medium format film and powerful photo restoration tools for both film and prints to bring faded and damaged photos back to life.
