FDA Approves NanoMaxx Ultrasound System

FDA has finally approved SonoSite’s NanoMaxx Ultrasound System, which means the gadget will be released stateside very soon. Weighing at only 6-pounds (2.7-Kg), the NanoMaxx Ultrasound System is perfect for busy clinics, ambulances, emergency rooms, and elsewhere that ultrasound is needed. The system uses the company’s advanced proprietary imaging algorithms, including SonoMB and SonoAdapt to provide high quality images. Additional features include a touchscreen display, a fast boot-up time of under 20-seconds and the ability to be used with five transducers to support a wide range of examinations and procedures.
