16GB and 32GB of Verbatim SSD Secure ExpressCard With AES 256-bit Hardware Encryption

Verbatim today unveiled the SSD Secure ExpressCard with premium AES 256-bit hardware encryption that combines a solid-state drive storage technology with a powerful security protection. The hardware-based encryption has mandatory password input, which protects the stored data. Even if the SSD ExpressCard should fall into the wrong hands, the disk auto-formatting feature will delete the entire contents of the drive after 10 incorrect password entries. What’s more, the solid-state drive is extremely sturdy and resistant to shocks and vibrations. The 16GB and 32GB Verbatim SSD Secure ExpressCard are priced at £89.99 ($148) and £159.99 ($264), respectively. [Verbatim]
