That’s right! Korean giant Samsung has released the first solar powered full-touch mobile phone in the world. Known as the Blue Earth, its solar panel is located on the back of the phone and generates enough power to make calls anytime, anywhere. There is also an ‘Eco-Mode’, for setting screen brightness and backlight duration, and a Bluetooth energy efficient mode. The “Eco-Walk†function offers a pedometer for calculating CO2 emissions reduced by walking as opposed to motor transport. The ‘Eco-Walk’ will also tell you how many trees you saved!
