FirstView today rolled out one of the cheapest MID Android devices around. Measuring 270mm x 193mm x 19mm, the PC607V is powered by either Android 1.4 or Windows CE. This portable gadget features a 7-inch resistive touchscreen display with a 60GB HDD, WiFi (b/g), a webcam, built in speakers, two USB ports, an SD card slot, HDMI, VGA/RJ45, and a 4500Mah battery. This news is out! I saw it on Engadget three days ago!
The $95 is subsidized cost through the distributor and not the REAL product cost, right? I would have to subscribe to some sort of data plan or something… or are you telling me I could go buy one for less than $100 with no string attached?
