Fujitsu’s Secure USB Memory Device With Automatic Data-Erase Function

Fujitsu has developed a USB memory device technology which is able to erase data from the USB flash drive automatically after a period of time has passed, and a file redirect technology which ensures that the data from the USB memory device can only be stored on a specified server. The combination of these two technologies make it possible for confidential data to be carried anywhere. If the USB memory device is lost, the data on it would be automatically deleted after 24 hours. [Akihabara]
