G-Technology has recently unveiled its new G-Connect wireless storage solution for the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and other mobile devices. Sporting a 500GB hard disk drive, the G-Connect creates an 802.11n wireless network, allowing it to share content with up to five devices simultaneously. Additional features include a USB 2.0 port, an automatic discovery and organization of files into photos, videos, music, and documents categories, app-based access from iOS devices, password protection, a personal “private” folder, and AirPlay support.
