Apple iPhone Update 1.0.1 Released

Apple iPhone Update 1.0.1 Released

iPhone Firmware Update v1.0.1 is now available through iTunes. Apple simply describes the update as containing “bug fixes”, and does not indicate any additional functionality at this time. The upgrade also closes the big Safari security breach discovered earlier this month, which is allowed malicious pages to take total control of your iPhone.

New Samsung SGH i620 Smartphone

The Samsung SGH-i620 smartphone has a compact slider form factor with a slide down QWERTY keyboard. This Windows Mobile 6 smartphone also features the 5-way navigation keypad to access applications quickly. It connects the Internet via Wi-Fi or HSDPA (3.5g). Other features include a 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and a Micro SD slot. Weighing at just 105grams, the Samsung i620 is expected to be available in September 2007.
