Qisda Smartphone Unveiled

Qisda Corp of Taiwan has recently unveiled a new smartphone that sports IEEE802.16e mobile WiMAX, wireless LAN, and support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks. The handset will be powered by Microsoft Windows 6.1 operating system and support for WiMAX via SIP and VoIP networks in addition to voice calls through wireless LAN. The phone will be able to handle WiMAX speeds of up to 8 to 10Mbps after tuning. [TechOn via Upcoming Cell Phones]
