The new Toshiba Portege G500 mobile phone will be available next month for around $600. It provides a unique and enhanced level of security, including fingerprint authentication to access the phone. For security conscious mobile phone users who demand email and web connectivity in their mobile phone, the phone sports full wireless push email and Internet browsing that is able to take advantage of HSDPA and WiFi connections. What’s more, the handset also offers a 2.3” QVGA screen and excellent battery life. Sadly, this pocket PC phone is running the old Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone, though the company promised to provide an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0.
