Alienware HD Media Server is a complete home entertainment system for media geeks with some great features. It offers up to 4TB hot-swappable hard drive, Blu-ray drive, recording and playing back at 1080p via an HDMI, internal cable card (OCUR), and Dolby Digital 7.1 preamp output. Using this media server, you will be able to automate most of your home features including lighting, room music, security, and air conditioning. The PC also allows you to watch high definition movies, record TV shows, and wirelessly stream your media to other PCs, mobile devices, and media extenders throughout your home. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase this mean machine any time sooner since the company has decided to sell it through their Channel program only.
