For $55,000, you can put a shot on any of the world renowned courses, including Pebble Beach, Cog Hill, Oakland Hills and the Old Course at St. Andrews as it comes pre-loaded with 50 of them. Using a Windows-based PC and video projector that provide a life-sized view, the highlight of this simulator is two curtains of infrared beams that sit just in front of the screen. These emit 60,000 pulses per second, and as the golf ball passes through them the software on the PC is able to immediately calculate its trajectory, which is then translated to your virtual ball in the game.
