Good news comes from Sony that the new Sony NW-S700F Walkman series will be available in the United States. Sony only announces the NW-S703F (1GB) and the NW-S705F (2GB) for the US market. Unfortunately, the 4GB top model NW-S706F is apparently not going to be available in the United States. The noise canceling paired with the 50 hour battery life and small form factor that make this Sony digital audio player pretty hot. The 1GB Sony NW-S703F players are available in violet and pink and will cost approx. US$169. Moreover, the 2 GB Sony NW-S705F players come in black and will cost about US$199. The new Sony players are supposed to start shipping mid-November.
