Garmin Silently Releases nuvi 1450 Navigation System

Garmin has recently rolled out the new nuvi 1450 GPS navigation device for $449.99 a pop. Measuring 5.4-inch x 3.4-inch x 0.6-inch and weighing 7.8-ounces, the gadget comes equipped with a huge 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels and a white backlight. Its battery provides up to three hours of operation time. In addition, the nuvi 1450 also has the ecoRoute feature that will route you using the most fuel efficient path to your destination, and an optional cityXplorer content to help you navigate the city on public transit showing where to catch a bus or subway.
