I have one of these laptops – totally loaded – I have had nothing but problems with it. I have sent it back to Gateway 5 times and they refuse to replace it. basically I have a laptop I can not use. Since Acer purchased Gateway the support and warranty is now AWFUL – I would NOT recommend
I have the worst luck with Gateway… I brought a M6750 which i brought at Best Buy piece of Crap. Well then I got a Gateway M 151X from Gateway.com . That is the biggest JOKE EVER, I had the Laptop for a day and the dam key broke got it fixed. Then 3 weeks later the Dvd/ cd rom drive stop working. Today I sent my laptop back for service I took the Gateway box that I got in and shipped it back with the issues on it and I wrote LEMON AND DREW LEMONS ON IT. I have to pay for shipping so I felt I will write on the box. I had to pay 23.00 dollars to ship a LEMON. I am a online student I depend on my Laptop. Between two Gateway laptops I still had to go the college and do my homework which is 120 miles round trip gas is not cheap. Right now both Laptops are getting serviced as I type. The worst part is I am on a Dell that is over 4 years and has been throw a car accident and still WORKS….. Hopefully Best Buy considers the M6750 a LEMON….. Then I can hopefully buy a better Laptop.
