Gigabyte will launch two new smartphones in Ukraine, one running on Android 1.6 and another one running on Windows Mobile 6.5. Measuring 116mm x 56.8mm x 12.4 mm, the Android-powered Gigabyte GSmart G1305 Codfish features Quad-band GSM connectivity, tri-band HSDPA connectivity (900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz), WiFi, GPS, a 3.2-inch HVGA display, a 256MB of RAM and a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor. Meanwhile, the Windows Mobile 6.5-powered Gigabyte GSmart S1205 Cougar is a dual SIM smartphone that features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity, WiFi, GPS, a 128MB of RAM, and a 416MHz processor. Too bad, there is no info on pricing or availability of these handsets, so stay tuned.
