Hitachi has unveiled its first Blu-ray camcorder, DZ-BD70E, during IFA 2007. The Blu-ray camcorder comes jam packed with 8cm Blu-ray disc storage and is capable of recording one hour of full HD(1920×1080) footage to Blu-Ray disc. The discs have 5 times the capacity of regular 8cm MiniDVDs and can be played in any compatible Blu-Ray player. Moreover, the gadget also sports HDMI interface and utilities a 5.3M CMOS sensor with an effective 2.07M for video and 4.32M for stills.
