HP Envy 17 Supports Up To Three External Displays

HP has finally released the HP Envy 17 laptop with the ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology that allows you to connect up to three external displays. The laptop is currently available in the base and recommended configurations. Priced at $1,400, the base configuration features a 2.26GHz Intel Core i5 CPU with a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, a 17-inch (1600 x 900) LCD display and an ATI Radion HD 5850 graphics. HP’s recommended configuration of Envy 17 boasts a more powerful 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 CPU, a 6GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a 17-inch (1920 x 1080) LCD display. The recommended configuration retails for $2,150. Both models come equipped with an HP TrueVision HD webcam and a 6-cell Lithium-Ion battery that provides enough juice for up to 2.5-hour.
