HP eSkins Unveiled

HP today introduced its new range of Electronic Skins, also known as eSkins. It is actually a flexible reflective color film, which is able to be used on a wide range of gadgets including cellphones, MP3 players, digital cameras, netbooks, and laptops. It can reflectively display icons and alpha-numeric characters. The eSkins technology provides brand manufacturers new ways to personalize their products with an electronically controlled color surface created using HP’s breakthrough roll-to-roll manufacturing platform and the potential for more cost-effective manufacturing.
