PC Magazine has a review of the 24 inch HP LP2465 LCD display, which features 1920 x 1200 resolution, 6ms response time, 500 cd/m2 brightness, and a 178-degree viewing angle.
Movies looked awesome on the widescreen display. During a viewing of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King on DVD, the colors were vivid and the picture was sharp, with only a few motion artifacts popping up occasionally. The picture remained sharp from nearly any angle, but there was some loss of color definition at the extreme end of the horizontal viewing plane. Playing a few rounds of Doom 3 was enjoyable on the big screen, thanks to the panel’s 6-millisecond (gray-to-gray) pixel-response rating. As was the case with Samsung’s SyncMaster 244T, which also boasts a 6-ms response rate, there was some streaking during game play, but it was minimal and did not detract from the experience.
HP LP2465 LCD display offers premier image quality, flexibility, and functionality in a wide-aspect, large-screen monitor that designed for workstation and power users.
