HTC has introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone ‘One S9’ in Germany. Coming with a brushed metal body, this mid-range smartphone boasts a 5.0-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection, a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) octa-core 64-bit processor, a PowerVR G6200 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 2TB).
Measuring 10.09mm thick and weighing 158 grams, the handset comes complete with an Ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 2 micron pixels and 1080p video recording, a 13MP rear-facing camera with 28mm lens, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, dual LED flash and 4K video recording, and dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio.
Powered by a 2840mAh battery, the One S9 provides 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS and NFC for connectivity, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with HTC Sense UI on top.
The HTC One S9 will go on sale in Germany from mid-May for RRP 499 Euros (about $563) in Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver colors. [FoneArena]
