Huawei has officially introduced their latest Android 5.1 smartphone, the Y5 II. Available in 3G or 4G variant, this entry-level smartphone sports a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor + Mali 400 GPU (3G variant), a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor + Mali-T720 GPU (4G variant), a 1GB RAM and an 8GB of expandable internal storage.
Measuring 8.9mm thick and weighing 135 grams, the handset packs a 2MP front-facing camera with LED flash, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, dual SIM card slots and a 2200mAh battery.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with EMUI 3.1 on top, the Y5 II provides 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Product Page]
