Actually there is technology which enables you to control your cursor without physical contact with an eye. There are just two infrared cameras which detects reflected light from your eyes. I saw such technology in America at Fidelity company. They use it to analyze the way differently aged users look surfing the net. So it think "I contact" mouse will die before it born.

this is one of the greatest ideas ever think about it... for gaming and stuff like that. it would be like you were the actual character. this would also be great for the future when you walk into a building your eye programs its self to the buildings software and boom anything you need just look at it

Don't see it happening. There are a lot of people who wear normal contacts - how exactly would it work for them? Plus, I don't know about you, but there is no way that a mouse tracking my eye movement would be efficent at all. For example, I would be trying to type right now, and it would be following my words. Or when you read, and it follows your every eye movement. What about when you get a popup, or one of those fake chat pop-ups, and you look over and your cursor goes there? How would you click? Would it click these spyware-ads by mistake?
Also, it's not like everyone looks just at their computer, or even just at what their cursor should be on. They look around; the eye is attracted to various things.
Oh, also, what about watching videos..? Or playing games? This is just an all-around dumb idea. Interesting, but it would never work. Sorry.
I bet it's bad for your eyes anyway.
