I-O Data has rolled out its new SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external HDD, the HDJ-UT. Measuring 46mm x 223mm x 155mm and weighing 1.6kg, the drive is available in either 1TB or 1.5TB capacity and provides transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0) or 480Mbps (USB 2.0). The 1TB (HDJ-UT1.0) and 1.5TB (HDJ-UT1.5) are now available in Japan for 21,000 Yen (about $231) and 25,300 Yen (about $279), respectively. [Product Page via GadgetFolder]
