I-O Data To Launch A New Series Of External HDDs

I-O Data is set to launch a new series of external HDDs for the Japanese market, the HDJ-U. Available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities, these drives are equipped with a powerful and silent cooling system, a USB 2.0/1.1 interface and support for multiple operating systems including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS. The I-O Data HDJ-U will start shipping in Japan around mid-February for about $183 (1TB), $244 (1.5TB) and $505 (2TB), respectively. [Softpedia]
