iLane is the world’s first handsfree email solution for in-vehicle use. It is a small device which interacts directly with your Bluetooth-enabled handheld devices and vehicle audio systems. iLane automatically detects the presence of your Bluetooth-enabled email devices and manages incoming information based on the device’s specific settings. The data received by the handheld devices will be sent to iLane and the information will be read aloud through a Bluetooth headset, hands-free kit or audio system. You can send a voice command back to iLane and it will send instructions to the handheld device. The handheld carries out the instructions such as sending replies, auto-forwarding messages, and accepting calendar request. You don’t need to recharge your iLane device since it is powered by your vehicle’s cigarette lighter. You can customize iLane and choose between a male and a female voice.
