Sony has officially announced the Sony VAIO JS1, which pretty much resembles the Apple iMac. The VAIO JS1 sports an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 20.1-inch, 1680 x 1050 X-black display, Intel GMA X4500HD graphics, and 802.11b/g/n. Boohoo on the gfx and unfortunately no pricing info available, but stay tuned for more updates and check out the thumbnails to see more shots. good to show this release, however, when you copy another competitor you are supposed to make it better, Sony hasn’t achieved this and definitely highlights the difference between good design and bad.
I find the keyboard and mouse an even more striking direct copy of Apple. Is there no shame left in this world. No matter, they are missing the most important component since they are not running, nor can they copy OS X, and that makes all the difference. John
Thanks Matt and John, can’t help to agree with you guys, but nice try from Sony nonetheless.
You missed the point of this unit, you produce High definition audio file in SACD format and it comes withe software to do it. Huge updgrade capability wise for any computer.
Curious what kind of external connection options it has as you should be able to use HDMI to a HDMI receiver and then out to to large tv if you want.
The audio capability alone though heads and tails above anything else out there.
