India And Russia To Develop T-50 Stealth Fighter

India and Russia have joined together to develop a fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft (FGFA). Known as the T-50, the jet fighter will feature stealth technology, composite materials, thrust-vectoring, advanced radars and sensors, and the ability to super cruise. In super cruise mode, the aircraft can achieve supersonic speeds without the use of the afterburner. The T-50 is expected to exceed the capabilities of the American F/A-22 ‘Raptor’ or match the F-35 ‘Lightning-II’ fighter.
