Iodata is gearing up to release another energy-efficient monitor for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the AD197GEW, this new 19-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and features 5ms response time, 800:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle, 1W+1W stereo speakers, a DVI port and consumes no more than 17.7W of power, with maximum power rated at 26W. The Iodata AD197GEW will become available in Japan starting in March 2010 for unannounced price yet. [PCLaunches]
