JVC Japan has introduced BD-R discs for video recording. Each single layer disc is coated with U-HD hard coat technology which prevent scratches. The disc has a capacity of 25GB with a recording rate of 1 - 2X. The JVC BV-R130L5 are available in Japan for approx. $54. [NewLaunches]
